Information we collect
When you use the price calculator, the quote form, the contact form, WhatsApp, email or the phone, we may collect:
- Your name and contact details, including phone number and email address
- The address or postcode of the property to be cleaned
- Details of the service you want and any access, parking or property notes you give us
- Your preferred dates and times
- Records of our correspondence with you, including WhatsApp messages
We do not ask for payment card details through this website.
Why we use it
- To answer enquiries and prepare quotes. Without your contact details and property information we cannot give you a price.
- To arrange and carry out bookings. This includes sharing the address and access details with the cleaner attending the job.
- To keep records of work carried out and to handle any follow-up or complaint.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Our lawful bases are performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and improving the business, and compliance with legal obligations. We only send marketing messages where you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only where necessary with:
- Cleaners and staff attending your job
- WhatsApp (Meta), where you choose to contact us that way
- Our accountant and, where legally required, HMRC or other authorities
WhatsApp processes your information under its own privacy policy. Using it is your choice; you can call or email us instead.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to 12 months. Records relating to completed work are kept for six years to meet accounting and tax requirements. After that, information is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To make a request, contact cleaninguk@ibcrestltd.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
